Retford FC have swooped for another player from across town with the signing of highly rated midfielder Max Dungworth from Retford United.
24 year old Railway signaller Max will feel at home at the Rail Ground and will be looking to keep the Choughs on the right track.
He played 40 league games in the NCEL last season with United scoring on four occasions receiving a lot of plaudits for his performances across the campaign where he was dubbed as "the fastest player in non-league".
He has previously played for Clay Cross Town where he helped the side achieve promotion as champions of the Central Midlands Alliance Premier Division (South) and also has United Counties League experience with Heanor Town.
Chris Woodhead is happy with his latest capture, “Bringing Max into the club is another great signing. He could see the buzz around the place and knows a few of the lads already after his spells at Retford and Ollerton. He was a popular player last season and I know the FC fans will be impressed with his excellent effort and workrate.”
Welcome to the club Max!
