Jake joins Management Team...

Retford FC can confirm that Jake Scott will be joining the coaching team as Assistant Manager to work alongside Chris Woodhead.

30 year-old Jake is no stranger to the club having played seventeen games and scoring two goals in his spells at the club and he will also be signed as a player ready to be called into action if required. He holds a UEFA B badge and has plenty of experience as a coach at several local academies and clubs.

He signed for Barnsley as a schoolboy before going on to play for Worksop Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Mickleover Sports and Sheffield FC.

Chris Woodhead said, “I’m happy to get Jake into the club. I’ve known him a long time and he’s a perfect fit for my staff. He’s got plenty of experience as a player and already he has brought some fresh ideas to our training which will only benefit the players in the long run.”
