Retford FC have been busy in the transfer market once again, but this time the action is happening off the pitch as the club secures the services of a true hospitality heavyweight – Barry Brown!

Barry, a legend of the local pub scene, has officially joined the club to support the club off the field in the hospitality suite. Having recently hung up his bar towel after many successful years at the helm of the Brick and Tile Inn, Barry built the establishment into one of Retford’s go-to watering holes. Now, he’s swapping pub pumps for pint pots at the football club, and fans are already toasting to the exciting times ahead.

With a remit to bring new faces through the doors, Barry has wasted no time in getting to work. Plans are already afoot for pool and darts teams to make Retford FC the new home of pub sports, and a series of events will be announced in due course. If his track record at the Brick and Tile is anything to go by, the club’s hospitality suite is about to become the hottest ticket in town – and we don’t just mean for halftime pie and peas.
