Coleman cuts the mustard…

Retford FC are delighted to announce the signing of experienced left-back Rory Coleman from Sheffield FC!

The 34 year-old brings a wealth of experience over the course of his career being a professional at Scunthorpe United before playing at Ilkeston Town, Alfreton Town, Gainsborough Trinity and Sheffield FC where he has played more than 100 times.

Chris Woodhead said “We’ve been short of competition at left back and Rory is someone who I know will be a popular figure at the club. He knows a few of the lads so should slot straight into the squad and I’m looking forward to working with him. He’s played at a high level and brings with him a lot of experience which will certainly be something we can draw on as we go into the new season.”
