Supporters Club Launched...

Dear Choughs fans, friends and local supporters,

We are delighted to announce the official launch of the Retford FC Supporters’ Club — a new, inclusive community for everyone who wants to get behind our team, make an impact and help steer our club to bigger and better things.

Retford FC was formed in 2015 by Chris Woodhead and Kevin Swannack with a vision of creating a club where local players can develop and participate in quality non-league football.

Off the pitch the club has grown: strong local roots, youth teams, ladies’ and veterans’ sides, and a real commitment to our community.

This is our home club, our town’s club — and now our supporters’ club opens up the chance for you to help us write the next chapter.

We are delighted to announce that Dan Fidler and Ash Corrie have been nominated as Chair-persons of the Supporters’ Club - subject to members vote.

Dan and Ash bring energy, ideas and dedication — and they want you involved!

Together, they will help steer supporter events, engagement, fundraising, match-day atmosphere, travel, away days, merchandise ideas, and much more.

We will convene the first Supporters’ Club Meeting to discuss structure, membership options, volunteer roles, events calendar, and how we can best support Retford FC together.

Date & time: Saturday 8th November 2025 at 12pm (Before the Shirebrook Town game)

Venue: SL2 Rail Stadium

By becoming part of the Supporters’ Club you will be helping to:

• Create a vibrant match-day atmosphere that gives the players a real boost

• Organise supporter travel and get-togethers (home and away)

• Raise funds for club improvements, youth & ladies programme, community outreach

• Influence merchandise, club events, social media presence and supporter voice

• Build a close-knit community around Retford FC – not just on match day but all year round

• Bring your ideas, your enthusiasm and your support to the first meeting.

• Know someone who isn’t yet connected? Invite them along – the more the merrier.

• Think about how you can contribute:  travel organiser, fundraising champion, social-media volunteer, match-day host — there’s a role for everyone.
