The FA have released the National League System Club allocations for the 2025/26 season and as expected Retford FC will continue in the United Counties League Division One next season.
The league constitution has to be ratified at the UCL AGM in June 2025 but as it stands, Clay Cross Town and Blackstones were the promoted sides and a few new faces will join the division with Swallownest and Dronfield Town moving laterally from the Northern Counties East League Division One, and FCV Grace Dieu and South Normanton Athletic promoted into the 22 club division.
Two clubs received a reprieve after finishing in the bottom three as Sandiacre Town and Holwell Sports will remain in the league and two clubs come down from the UCL Premier Division with Shirebrook Town and Sleaford Town completing the line up.
