Retford FC Under 21s Confirm Management Team for 2025/26 Season

Retford FC are pleased to confirm that the club’s Under 21s side will continue into the 2025/26 season under the leadership of Manager Martin Woodhead and Assistant Manager Adam Chapman.

The management duo will once again oversee the squad, working closely alongside the first team with a clear focus on player progression. Several Under 21s players successfully stepped up to the senior squad during the 2024/25 campaign, and the club remains committed to providing a clear pathway for young talent to move through the ranks.

Reflecting on the 2024/25 season, a third place finish in the Worksop Van Hire North Midlands Development League, the Under 21s delivered a strong campaign with players progressing. The side earned praise for their attacking style, with a number of players cementing their reputation as a key part of the club’s future.

One change ahead of the new season will see Coach Scott Lee depart the club as he prepares to move abroad. Retford FC would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Scott for his dedication and hard work throughout the last season. His contribution to the development of the squad has been greatly appreciated by players and staff alike.

The club will announce Scott’s replacement in due course, with the new coach expected to join the team in time for pre-season preparations.

Retford FC looks forward to continuing to build on the foundations laid this year, as the Under 21s continue to play a vital role in the club’s long-term strategy.
