Retford FC Under-21s have secured a new sponsorship deal from UK Energi, a renewable energy solutions provider based in Doncaster. The club proudly unveiled their new kit on Thursday evening, presented by UK Energi's Managing Director, Derrick Wilkinson, ahead of their fixture against Armthorpe Welfare.
Despite a 5-1 defeat in the match, the club was upbeat about the partnership, which promises to bring added support and visibility to the Under-21 side.
UK Energi, known for its innovative approach to green energy, specialises in providing sustainable energy solutions, including solar, wind, and electric vehicle charging stations. The company has a growing reputation in South Yorkshire and beyond for its commitment to helping businesses and homes reduce their carbon footprint. Founder and Managing Director, Derrick Wilkinson was enthusiastic about backing Retford FC’s development team.

The new kit looks great and we also have their logo on our rain jackets so we can promote them as we embark on our new league campaign across the region.”
While the result against Armthorpe Welfare wasn’t what the team had hoped for, the Under 21’s look forward to bouncing back from the defeat, wearing their new UK Energi-sponsored kit with pride.
