Rodgers departs...

Retford FC has this evening confirmed that Harvey Rodgers has left the club after two seasons, with the player seeking more regular game time at another club. The 21-year-old midfielder, who joined Retford in the summer of 2022, made 70 appearances over his two-year stint but found limited opportunities in the current squad.

Rodgers' debut for the club came as a substitute in a 5-2 victory against Nostell Miners Welfare on the opening day of the 2022/23 season, scoring his only goal for Retford FC in a 5-1 win against Clay Cross Town in December 2023.

Retford FC manager Chris Woodhead expressed his gratitude for Rodgers’ efforts and dedication during his time at the club. In a statement, Woodhead said: "I would like to thank Harvey for his contribution to the club over the last few seasons and wish him well wherever he ends up playing."

While Rodgers moves on in search of more playing opportunities, the club would like to wish him success in the next chapter of his football career.
