Woody celebrates 350

jondknight9

The milestones keep coming, after 200 appearances for Jon Kennedy last week, it’s now the focus on Chris Woodhead who took charge of his 350th game for Retford FC in this afternoon’s clash against Clifton All Whites.

350 games is a huge achievement with the first competitive game for the club in August 2015, under Woodhead’s tenure the club have moved to step 6 football in a relatively quick time having won the Central Midlands League North Division back in 2018/2019.

There have been plenty of ups and downs over the course of that time but more highs than lows including the growth of the club and the fantastic developments around the ground to make it one of the leading facilities in the area.

There are not many managers that can boast 350 games for their club but Woody is still going strong as the club look to further progress up that footballing pyramid.

Congratulations Chris!
